Welcome to my webage!  I am in the 17th year of my  teaching  journey and am the lucky teacher of Freshman through Senior students in the Parkway School District.  I began my teaching career at the elementary level and earned my masters in educational technology around the time that technology was becoming a mainstream part of the classroom.  Throughout my career I have remained intrigued by the challenge of how to use the digital tools at our disposal to enhance learning.  After teaching for six years in elemetary, I transitioned into a job working for my district's  technology department as a technology specialist.  This lasted for two years before I started mising the classroom and took a job teaching techology and business at a middle shcool.  I spent three years there rewriting and updating an "outdated" CTE curriculum.  I was not ready to leave, but was invited to join an amazing  team of business teachers at the high school where I currently reside.  On a personal note, I have two college age sons and a very supportive husband that all have a passion for business, technology, and entrepreneurial endeavors.  My own children tease me that I have followed them through school by changing jobs everytime they moved from elemetary, to middle, to high school.  They are right!  Although I love high school so much that I don't see myself  teaching college in the near future.... We'll see!;)
